Updated

Well here it is, took me about half a year. Nothing too special, a few songs got scrapped in the process but I'm satisfied with how the rest turned out and learned a bunch of things. Hope you enjoy the whole thing! Have a nice weekend ;)

What I've been up to

2016-04-12 05:30:56 by CreoMusic

Hi,

I figured it's time to write a short update about what I've been doing the last couple of months:

I finally got a job as VGM composer. My involvement is not the biggest but it is a nice start. I am licensing them a few (modified) songs and I'm commissioned to write one original theme. The game is called "Nampa: Osaka Nights" and its basically about picking up girls in japanese clubs - so what's not to love? ;)
You can read all about it on their website:
http://www.nampaosakanights.com/

Aside from that I also made this short chiptune jingle:

In my spare time I have been working on a 5 or 6 track EP for Creo. The audio is about 60ish % complete but I still need to work on it a bit more. It's gonna be the first time I released something more than a single song in years. The genre is as per usual - melodic electro, house, alternative rock. Somewhere in between.
If you are interested in this project you can check my recent work here:

Also my personal website is now live, it should help people get an idea of the music I can create and the services I can provide.
You can see the website here: http://www.clemenshoeberth.com/
I could probably add a thousand more things but I wanted to just have something online for now - I'm happy about any feedback.

On this note: I am still looking for some more work - so if you like my music and want to work with me, shoot me a message!

Introduction

2016-01-21 06:12:31 by CreoMusic

Hello,

I have been on Newgrounds for a few months now (almost a year!) and I have yet to make a news post, so this will be my first. Naturally, I want to start off by introducing myself.

My name is Clemens, I also go by my artist name Creo, and I am a Composer / Producer from Vienna, Austria. The genres I create music in range from Electronic (Electro, House, Electronic Rock, Experimental) to Orchestral (Cinematic, VGM, Filmscore), usually combining one or more. I love experimenting with interesting melodies and try to make my songs somewhat catchy and original at the same time.

If you are visiting my profile because you enjoy my music, I invite you to follow me on here and on whatever social media platform you like. I do have some more music on soundcloud and youtube, that I haven't uploaded here yet. Most of it is really old and outdated though.

I am also actively looking for work as composer (Video Games and/or Filmscore), so leave me a message if you are interested in working together.

For reference, this is the most recent score I did:

Now for some news:
I decided to participate in the pixelday contest. I had a rough idea for some chiptune music lying around on my hard drive and decided to pick it up and make something decent out of it. It took me a suprisingly large amount of time to finish it but I think the experience alone made it worthwhile. You can listen to my submission here:

That's all for now, have a nice day!
