Love it! The composition reminds me of FF VI <3

Fretzone responds:

Thank you :)

This is very good. If the guitar is self-recorded you have done a really good job at it! Other than that my ears were longing for what I assume was a LowPass-Filter on top of the bitcrushed synth to open up a bit more, especially for the last part. All in all very enjoyable!

Zipark responds:

Thanks hyperdemented. For this track, there's no acoustics instruments. I have a track with real instruments and an excellent guitarist. I can post in a few day when the mix will be redone.

Great song, compliments on the arrangement and structure - keeping it interesting throughout the track. The best part is without a doubt the bass - is this a preset or an original creation? Either way it sounds sweet!

lolkaspy responds:

Yeah, this is mastered on Fruity Loop! Thanks for you review!

Very atmospheric and a whole lot of enjoyable melodies. This song tells a story of its own and I quickly find myself lost in it. Absolutely great!

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thank you so much for your kind review! It means a lot :)

good stuff! your instrumentals are on point, I guess you could maybe bring in some different vocal samples but great track - liking it :)

Saao responds:

Thanks, some of my song have minor vocals, I can't sing and I haven't seen my friend Sarah in a while.

flawless.

ok the solo violin sounds a tad bit cheap - but as far as I know even the expensive ones do
great work, got yourself a follower!

PolarTrance responds:

I originally wanted to record real violin, but the violinist had to cancel, due to IRL problems, so I just chose the best sounding soundfont I had. In the end though, I had 4 different violin sounds, because the one best sounding one, couldn't do long notes. It was a pain to do it, to say the least :D

And you too got yourself a follower~

Like it a lot! The only thing I noticed is that the closed (half-open?) Hi-Hat sounded a bit harsh - other than that a great listen!

JacksonTime responds:

Haha thanks. Ikr, I've always had a hard time mixing drums. Glad you enjoyed it though,

I have yet to listen to all of the contest entries but I enjoyed this one a lot and wouldn't be surprised if it makes it into the top three. The song is interesting and has just the right amount of variety throughout its length. I can easily imagine and find myself in the scenery that you described - good job!

Daru925 responds:

Thanks, I m very happy that you find this immersive enough to fit to the scenario, storytelling is something i strive to achieve in every track i make, however abstract the music might be.

Intense really is the best word to describe this - great work! The only thing I didn't like that much were the toms - I think they could use more reverb or exchange the samples with Timpani to create that epic movie feeling. Also I had the impression that you were lacking a bit of the lower frequency instruments. Other than that a great track!

SmokeAvery responds:

Yeah reverb was the main thing everybody tells me, i definitely overlooked it
